							Maintenance and Usage Tips for the Alpha® AWS-110/125
Be sure to inspect/test the Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) 
before operating the tool.
Carbon brushes should be checked periodically and replaced when 
necessary. In many cases, this simple maintenance procedure will 
avoid having to send the tool in for unnecessary repairs.
Do not leave the tool submersed in water. This could expose the inner 
moving parts to moisture, which will shorten the life of the tool.
Light pressure should be applied when using this tool allowing the blade 
to do the work, excessive force will cause overheating and may result 
in premature failure of the blade, bearings, gears, or all of the above.  
Step cutting method is recommended: especially when using the curve 
cutting blade product line.
Use the side handle supplied with the AWS-125 saw for better control 
and ease of operation.
This tool has a left hand thread on the fl ange bolt. Turn right to loosen.
To ensure ease of removal, do not over tighten blade adapter screws. Do 
not leave blades installed on the arbor for extended periods of time.
Be sure the trigger lock is disengaged before plugging tool into a power 
source.
Replacing the felt strips when worn will prevent scratching and allow 
the tool to slide across the material being cut (natural stone, quartz 
surfaces, tile, glass, etc…) •
