A AT TT TA AC CH HI IN NG G T TH HE E B BL LA AD DE E: : 1. Ensure the teeth of the blade are point- ing in the same direction as the arrow on the lower guard. Insert the blade up through the saw shoe. Place the blade bore over the spindle. Reassemble the blade mounting outer flange, washer and bolt. 2. Depress the Spindle Lock Button and then rotate the blade until the blade engages the lock. Use the supplied wrench to tighten the blade mounting bolt (Clockwise). A AT TT TA AC CH HI IN NG G T TH...

16 15 ADJUSTING BLADE CUTTING DEPTH ADJUST BLADE CUTTING DEPTH: 1. Unplug the power cord. 2. Hold the saw firmly and pull the lock lever up. 3. Raise or lower the base to the desired cutting depth. Make sure the teeth protrude at least 1/4 through the bottom of the workpiece. 4. Push the lever down to lock the base into position. • Mark out the line to be cut so it is easily visible. • Start inside the area to be cut out. • Set the shoe against the work piece at an angle. • Lift the blade guard. • Pull the trigger to start the saw. • When the blade reaches full speed, slowly feed the blade into the work piece. When the blade starts cutting, release the blade guard.
