www.aleratec.com12 Using the DVD/CD Flash Copy Tower Disc Spanning To use Disc Spanning go to Setup and enable Disc Spanning. When you want to copy a Memory Card which has a content size bigger than a disc, the DVD/CD Flash Copy Tower will automatically estimate the number of blank discs required for the job and execute Disc Spanning. When the file size is very close to the writable space on the blank discs, the DVD/CD Flash Copy Tower may under estimate the number of discs needed. If this happens...

For example, if you place a CD-R as the first disc for copying, do not place a DVD-R or DVD+R to continue copying. The DVD/CD Flash Copy Tower will show an error message and ask for another blank CD-R. Note: Disc Spanning will automatically detect the next blank disc and eject the completed first disc.
