6 Getting started Phone setup Installing the nano-SIM card You must insert your SIM card to make phone calls. You do not need to power off your phone before inserting or removing the nano-SIM card as this phone supports hot swap. 1. Remove the back cover. 2. To insert the nano-SIM, turn the nano-SIM card so the gold contacts face downward. 3. Slide the nano-SIM card into the nano-SIM slot.
7 4. To insert a microSD card (sold separately), turn the microSD card so the gold contact faces downward and slide it into the microSD slot. 5. Make sure that it is correctly inserted. 6. To remove a nano-SIM or microSD card, push in on the exposed edge to release the card and slide it out. 7. Replace the back cover.
8 Important: To avoid damage to the phone, please use the standard nano-SIM card included in the box. Some applications may require a microSD card to work normally or to store data. Therefore, it is recommended that you keep a microSD card installed and not remove or replace it randomly. Charging the battery Your phone’s battery should have enough power for the phone to turn on, find a signal, and make a few calls. You should fully charge the battery as soon as possible. When the battery is low, a low-battery warning icon will pop-up on the screen. If the battery is extremely low, you may be unable to power on the phone even when it is being charged. In this case, try again after charging the phone for at least 10 minutes.
