12�1 Getting started
12�1�1  About the VR goggles
Use your VR goggles to experience virtual reality by inserting your 
Alcatel IDOL 4S and enjoy 2D and 3D content such as games, videos 
or other VR applications.

12�1�2 Using the VR goggles for the first time
You can start VR by using the preinstalled “VR Launcher” application. 
Before using the VR goggles, make sure VR Launcher has been set up 
and received the necessary permissions.
Follow these steps  before inserting your device into the VR goggles.
1. Start the “VR Launcher” application. 
2.   If VR Launcher does not have the 
needed permissions, it will ask now. 
Allow these.
3.  Read and accept the safety warning by 
touching the “GOT IT” button.

Follow these steps to insert your device into the VR goggles.
1.
 
 Put your fingertips in the hole slot and pull the top cover outward 
to open.
2.  Firmly press down on the clip to pull it back and insert your device 
into the VR goggles. Make sure your device is powered on and the 
screen unlocked. 
Note:  Don’t force the clip or it could break. Make sure it’s locked 
tightly, or your device might fall out and be damaged.

   Press the  button to open the bottom cover.

 Hold the VR goggles with two hands. Find the BACK and SELECT 
buttons on the bottom. 
The buttons are touch-sensitive and don’t need to be pressed down.
Notes:
•	 Keep the lenses clean and unscratched. You can clean them with the 
lens cleaning cloth.
•	 The foam cushioning might deteriorate over time from sweat. Keep 
your face clean and dry while wearing the VR goggles.
