WARNING Always operate, inspect, and maintain this tool with American National Standards Institute Safety Code for Portable Air Too ls (ANSI B186.0) and any other applicable safety codes and regulations. IMPORTANT Make sure that these instructions are fully understood before operating this tool. The tool, its attachments, and accessories must only be used for their designed purpose. F or product liability and safety reasons, any modifications of the tool and its accessories must be agreed upon by the technical authority of the manufacturer. All locally legislated safety rules with regard to installation, operation and maintenance shall be respected at all times. INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFE OPERATION First, follow your local safety regulations strictly on this tool. INSTALLATION: 1. Attach male outlet end of lubricator directly to tool or downstream side of air line. 2. Attach air supply line to fe male side of lubricator. NOTE: When attaching a fitting to the female side of the lubricator, it must not touch the baffle plate inside the lubricator. FILLING: 1. Disconnect air supply. 2. Remove filler cap slowly to allow trapped air to escape from oil reserv oir. 3. Fill with SHELL Turbo T 32 oil, as recommended by the tool manufacturer. CAUTION: Damage to tool and lubricator will result if detergent type oils or moly graphite -type oils are used. Use only non - detergent oil. Do not use “3-in -1” or sewing machine -type oils. 4. Replace filler cap using finger pressure only. 5. Reconnect air line. OPERATION: 1. Swivel the lubricator so the filler cap is in up position. 2. Lubrication is automatic when tool is triggered. ADJUSTMENT: 1. Disconnect air supply and bleed off any remai ning air pressure in the air line. 2. Remove filler cap to expose adjustment screw. 3. Adjust screw by turning ¼ turn or less at a time. For more oil, turn counterclockwise. For less oil, turn clockwise. 4. Reconnect tool to air line and operate it. Allow time for change in oil adjustment to become apparent. Check tool exhaust for oil evidence. NOTE: Maximum oil is obtained when adjustment screw is opened 2 -½ turns. Do not open further. MAINTENANCE REGULAR OVERHAUL : None required except cleaning. Wash reservoir out with kerosene if sludge or dirt accumulates. Do not use carbon jet, alcohol, or acetone as damage to the lubricator will result. GENUINE PARTS: The use of other than genuine AIMCO replacement parts may result in safety hazards, decreased tool performance and increased maintenance, and may invalidate all warranties. STORAGE After disconnecting air line, bleed off pressure in oil reservoir by slowly removing filler cap. AIMCO is not responsible for customer modification of tools for applications on which AIMCO was not consulted. Repairs should be made only by an authorized AIMCO Service Center. We do not authorize the free replacement of any product from the distributor or retailer inventory and assume no obligation to make replacements. Factory inspection will determine if the product is defective. Return any broken, worn, or malfunctioning accessories to the factory, postage pre-paid to: Customer Service Department PO Box 11413 Reno, NV 89570 Repair charges (if any) and return transportation costs will be invoiced. All depending on the condition of the parts required to repair. Products showing evidence of abuse, misuse, alterations or used for purposes other than intended will be repaired, if possible, at a nominal charge plus the price for parts required. We will advise repair charges upon receipt and will notify if the product cannot be repaired. This warranty shall extend only to the original purchaser, providing he has proof of purchase. LIMITATION OF OTHER WARRANTIES All implied warranties, including any implied warranty of merchantability or us e for a particular purpose, are hereby limited to the same duration as the expressed warranty provided above. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts so the limitations may not apply to you. LIABILITY LIMITATION In no event shall this product or accessory produced by this manufacturer be liable for consequential, incidental, or special damages resulting from or in any manner related to the product, its design, use or any inability to use the above. The sole and exclusive remedy with respect to a defective product shall be the repair or replacement thereof. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also forgo other rights which vary from state to state.
