    Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
    Descaling the appliance
    It is not generally necessary to remove limescale from the appliance if the de-
    tergent product is properly dosed.
    If it becomes necessary to remove limescale, use a commercially available
    special non-corrosive product specifically designed for washing machines.
    Follow the dosing instructions and observe the intervals between uses indi-
    cated on the packaging.
    The exterior
    Use warm soapy water to clean the exterior of the appliance. Never use alco-
    hol, solvents or similar products.
    Dispenser box
    From time to time you should clean the detergent dispenser to remove any
    residues from detergent products and so avoid any operating anomalies.
    2. Separate the two parts of the
    detergent dispenser. 1. Lift out the detergent dispen-

    Clean the filter located at the base of the appliance regularly :
    1. Open the door, with the aid of
    a screwdriver, for example.2. Place a bowl underneath it.
    Turn the plug anti-clockwise until
    it is vertical and can release the
    residual water.
    3. Unscrew the plug completely
    and remove it.4. Clean it carefully under running

    7. Close the door again.

     This appliance is heavy. Take care when moving it.
     The appliance must have the transit bolts removed before use. If all
    protective transit devices are not removed, this could cause damage to the
    appliance or to neighbouring cabinets or furniture. The appliance must be
    unplugged from the electricity supply when the transit bolts are being
    removed.
     Connection to the water supply must be carried out by a qualified plumber.
     The appliance must be equipped with an earthed power plug which
    conforms to regulations.
     If your domestic electrical circuit needs adapting to allow the appliance to
    be plugged in, use a qualified electrician.
     Before connecting your appliance to the power supply, carefully read the
    instructions in the chapter entitled “Electrical connection”.
     Ensure that, after installation, the power cable is not trapped under the
    appliance.
     If the appliance is installed on carpeted floor, ensure that the carpet does
    not obstruct any ventilation ducts located at the base of the appliance.
     Replacing the power cable should only be carried out by the After Sales
    Service.
     The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting
    from incorrect installation.

    Remove all protective packaging for transit before using for the first time.
    Keep in case needed for future transit : Transporting a non-secured appliance
    may damage internal components and cause leakages and malfunctions. The
    appliance can also be damaged through physical contact.
    Unpacking
    1. Tilt the appliance backwards. 2. Make it do a quarter turn on
    one of the corners to remove the
    transport base.
    4. Remove the plastic film. 3. Open the lid of the appliance
