The deep roasting pan and the oven shelf have double side edges. These edges and the shape of the guide-bars causes the anti-tilt safety for the oven accessories. The meat probe must stay in the meat and in the meat probe socket during the cooking procedure. While the appliance calculates an approximate end time, the display shows a square that flashes. 6. Setting the clock functions 1. Switch on the appliance. 2. Use again and again until the display shows the necessary clock function and the related symbol, for example Minute Minder . 3. Activating the door lock: Pull the door lock for- ward until it locks in place. Deactivating the door lock: Push the door lock back into the panel. Opening the appliance door: 1. How to use the Baking Tables • We recommend to use the lower temperature the first time. • If you cannot find the settings for a special recipe, look for the one that is almost the same. • Baking time can be extended by 10-15 minutes, if you bake cakes on more than one level. • Cakes and pastries at different heights do not always brown equally at first. The oven gets the pre-set temperature and a signal operates. Then, the oven automatical- ly sets to a lower temperature to continue cooking. Always cook without a lid when you use the Slow Cook function. 1. Sear the meat in a pan in a very high heat. 2. Put the meat in a roasting dish or directly on the oven shelf.
