 OPERATION
 
Install batteries, ensuring the polarity is as show n in the battery holder, or insert the power supply  into 
the connector on the rear of the scale.  
Place the scale on a flat, very stable surface, and  clear the scale platform. 
Press the “ON/OFF” key, turning on the scale.   
You can choose the weighing units before the weight  display shows “0.00”. See below. 
Display will show 0.00.        It is now ready to weigh . 
Put the subject on the scale platform, the display  shows the weight.   
Press the “ON/OFF” key briefly to tare the scale, s etting    the display to 0.00.       
Any additional weight added will displayed. 
To HOLD the displayed weight.    Press the HOLD key when the LCD display is stable , this will lock the LCD display for 10 
seconds, or press HOLD again to show the current  weight. 
To turn off the scale.  Press ON/OFF twice.     
 
SELECT WEIGHING UNIT
 
When turning the scale on, the display will show al l segments for 3 seconds,    During this time 
press the    “ON/OFF” key to change units.  
      CALIBRATION
 
Place the scale on a flat, very stable surface, and  clear the scale platform. 
  
Press the “ON/OFF” key, turning on the scale.    Befo re the LCD displays “0.00”, press “ON/OFF” 
key four times in sequence, and hold the key down a t the fourth time, until the random number are 
shown on the LCD, release “ON/OFF” key.  
Press the “ON/OFF” key again, the display will show s “CAL”, and then 20.00.    Put a 20kg weights 
on the platform, press the “ON/OFF” key, the LCD sh ows PASS, and then 20.00. 
 
Calibration is complete. Remove the weight and turn  the scale off. 
  WARNING MESSAGES
 
“LO”:          Low power, please change the batteries.  
“O-LD”:      Over loading, please remove the item imme diately to protect the scale. 
UNST:      Scale is unstable.
