High Quality DLPªTechnology 
The DPX-1 makes use of DLP technology
which provides extraordinary resolution and
contrast. It employs a large 0.9 inch DLP
semiconductor that delivers 65% more area
than the smaller chip used in other projectors
and generates greater light output, so less
magnification is required and greater detail is
obtained.
Innovative Tri-Color Wheel
The DPX-1 employs a true Tri-Color Wheel for
the first time in a home theater projector.
Conventional color wheels have a clear
section which is not useful in movie or video
reproduction. but this wheel has only three
segments, one for each RGB color. By
eliminating the clear section, the Tri-Color
Wheel provides greater area for each of the
three primary colors that create the color
picture, delivering a picture with a 40% higher
contrast ratio and a brightness level of 800
ANSI lumens for maximum movie enjoyment.
Digital Video Processing
Digital video processing optimizes video
sources with marginal image quality. Field
adaptive area noise reduction circuitry
senses the edges of an object and takes
less action at those areas. The result is a
clean image with natural, rather than hard,
edges. Digital video processing also
improves the quality of reduces 3D noise.
Silent Operation for Movie Enjoyment
The DPX-1 uses a Scirocco-type fan rather
than a conventional blade fan. The fan
combines with special duct architecture and
a silencing chamber to create an innovative
ventilation system that makes the unit nearly
silent dur ing operation , critically important
for high performance home theater.Numerous Inputs for Full Compatibility
A full complement of professional grade
inputs are provided for a variety of sources,
including component video with BNC
terminals for maximum connection integrity,
digital RGB and DVI (Digital Visual Interface),
composite and S-video. An RS-232C serial
interface allows control by PC and a +12V
trigger out can activate other components
when the projector is powered on.
