7 ◆Operational range Keep the remote control sensor out of direct sunlight or fluorescent lamp light. Keep the remote control sensor at least 2 m away from fluorescent lamps. Otherwise, the remo te control may malfunction. If there is an inverter-operated fluorescent lamp near the remote control, the remote control operati on may become unstable. 8 ◆Setting up your projector Install the screen perpendicularly to the pr ojector. If the screen can not be installed in such a way, adjust the projection an gle of the projector as shown below. Install the screen and projector so that the projector’s lens is placed at the horizontal position of the screen center. Do not install the screen where it is exposed to direct sunlight or lighting. 14 ◆Viewing video images Preparation: Turn on the power of the connected video equipment. 1. Confirm the POWER indicator lights up red. If the projector was turned off before the lamp was cooled down sufficiently last time, the fan may start rotating and the STA NDBY/ON button may not work after the power cable is plugged. 16 Setting the aspect ratio You can change the aspect ratio of the input video signal (or the ratio of width to height of the image).
