3.0 Inst alling the Sof tware - Inst all the camera driver before connecting the camera to y our computer for the first time. Insert the Vivicam 35 CD ROM into you r CD-ROM driv e. The CD will run automatically and present this w elcome screen: On the CD RO M y ou w ill find: 1. T wain Driver Inst all this before connecting to y our PC 2. Arcsof t Suite PhotoImpression and VideoImpression 3. NetGUI In-A-Flash Photo4. User Manual 5. Adobe Reader 3.1 Twain Driv er -8- To use your Vivicam 35 camera on y our PC y ou must first inst all this sof tware beforehand, know n as the “driver .” Inst all this driver sof tware before connecting y our camera to y our PC fo r the first time. You w ill only need to inst all the driver once to setup y our PC to w ork w ith the V35 camera.
3.2 ArcSof t Suite – 3.2.1 A rcSof t PhotoImpression is a complete digit al image editing application designed w ith real people in mind. Easy -to-use “Getting Start” guides, user-friendly UI, complete image editing functionality , give users w onderful experience to organizing, view ing, enhancing, editing, printing and sharing photos. 3.2.2 A rcSof t VideoImpression creates home movies and slide show s by combining ex isting videos, still images, ex citing scene transitions, and multiple audio tracks. Though simple to use, the program provides intense and broad video editing and ex port options perfect for ow ners of digit al still cameras, desktop and digital video cameras, and camcorders. 3.3 NETGUI In A Flash Photo – 3.3.1 In A Flash Photo is all y ou need to bring y our digit al photos to life! Easily take images directly from y our camera and put them into a dy namic animated photo album w ithout requiring extensive computer know ledge. With In A Flash Photo y ou can also eas ily print images or send y our animated photo albums to family and friends by email w ith a simple URL link w hen published to our servers on the w orldw ide web. can create professional photo albums easily due to the simplified Wizard interface; add pictures, choose a theme, add a title, music and y ou are done. Its that simple! Once y ou have finished, y ou then can email or save to y our computers hard drive. In A Flash Phot o places the pow er of animation in the hands of anyone w ho can t ake a picture and brings y our photos to life! 3.4 User Manual - Click on the “User Manual” button to go to the index of V iviCam 35 User Manuals. The V ivicam 35 User Manual is included on the CD ROM in PDF format. Note that y ou w ill need to inst all Adobe® Reader® on y our PC to read the User Manual. After y ou have inst alled the V ivicam 35 driver and application sof tware titles you are now ready to use y our camera to capture digit al images. The next section w ill tell y ou about the operation of y our new digit al camera. -10-
4.0 Capturing Images - Using y our new Vivicam 35 is fun and easy . There are tw o basic step s to capturing y our first image. Step 1: Turn on the camera by holding dow n the Pow er Button for tw o seconds. Step 2: Press the shutter button to capture t is really an im that easy ! The follow ing sections w ill tell y ou about more features .1 Power On the Camera - n the Pow er ON/OFF button for tw o hat the camera will automatically pow er-of f after 30 seconds inactivity to 21 age. Turn on the camera and notice the many icons and sy mbols on the status LCD: As y ou press the Mode button the LCD display will change in the follow ing order .
