When programmed for a specific time, the keyset will sound a distinctive ring to remind the user of meet- ings or appointments. Alarms can be set for “today only” or for every day at the same time. It allows a group of people to listen to the distant party over the speaker without the micro- phone turned on. HEADSET OPERATION Every keyset can be programmed to allow the use of a headset. In addition, keyset users can also mute the keyset microphone while the keyset is in speakerphone mode. Each key can be programmed for more than 25 differ- ent uses to personalize each phone. Examples of keys include individual outside line, individual station, group of lines, group of stations and one touch speed dial buttons. Using these keys eliminates dialing access codes.
