9Get started 1. Get started ■Insert a (U)SIM card and battery This device uses BP-5M batteries. 1. To open the back cover of the device, with the back of the device facing you slide the cover toward the bottom of the device (1), and remove it (2). To remove the battery, lift it from the end (3). 2. Slide the (U)SIM card in the SIM card holder (4).
