The display changes when any of the switches are operated. Press both Select Up switch and Enter Switch together to exit and return to the Menu. (1) The number increments each time a coin signal is received. (2) ~ (5) The display changes from OFF to ON each time the respective switch is operated. (6) A bar extends from the centre corresponding to the direction and deflection of the joystick. (7) & (8) The figure changes corresponding to the joystick angle when the joystick is tilted. The figure will change colour when the joystick is tilted to its maximum angle of defelection. (7) is for the left/right direction, and (8) is for the forward/backward direction. (9) The dispaly changes from OFF to ON when either of the start buttons are pressed. (10) Displays the input force of the ball assembly used during the game. (11) The left OFF changes to ON, (ON/OFF), when the ball is kicked gently and the right OFF changes to ON, (ON/ON), when the ball is kicked hard. (12) A red bar is displayed above the line when the ball is kicked. The bar length indicates the kick speed.

Page 53 6-2-4 Monitor Test 1. Select “MONITOR TEST” on the menu screen to test and adjust the Monitor. The following screen is displayed. 2. Use the Select Up/Down switch to choose the required item then press the Enter button. To return to the Monitor Test Menu from a test pattern press the Enter button. 3. Use the Select Up/Down switch to choose the required item then press the Enter button. 3. Use the Select Up/Down switch to change the selected item settings Note: Item (d) only. To select the digit to be adjusted press the Enter button. 4. Press the Enter button after the setting changes have been made to return to option select 5. (for a maximum of 10 seconds.) 001 when selected will produce a sound from the left speaker only, then the right speaker only and then both speakers together as a stereo check. (e) Displays the sound code selected by REQUEST. “NO SOUND” is displayed if there is no corresponding sound file for the selected number 6-2-6 ADS Data By selecting ADS Data from the Menu screen, all of the bookkeeping details can be read and/or reset.

All other text is in English only. e) Sets the screen freeze function. When this is set to ON, press the enter switch to freeze/release the screen, operate the Select Up switch to advance frames. f) Tests the PC board. (Not used while the game is in operation) g) When selected the Data Initialization Menu appears. To reset all game settings and clear stored data select YES from the Data Initialization Menu and press the Enter button. 6-2-7 Others 1. Select “OTHERS” on the menu screen to change language and reset to factory settings. The following screen is displayed. 2. Use the Select Up/Down switch to choose the required item then press the Enter button.3. Use the Select Up/Down switch to change the selected item settings Note: Item (d) only. To select the digit to be adjusted press the Enter button. 4. Press the Enter button after the setting changes have been made to return to option select 5. Select “EXIT” and press the Enter button to return to the menu screen.

INITIALIZATION Adjustments when Replacing Parts The following operation must always be performed after replacing the NAOMI Game PCB, Joystick Potentiometers or initializing the backup data.. The game will not operate correctly if these adjustments are not made. 1. Slide the TEST switch ON while pressing and holding the SERVICE switch. The following screen is displayed. I/F INITIALIZE KEEP STICKS CENTRE POSITION AND PRESS SERVICE SW GO TO [SWITCH TEST] ............................ (a) SELECT SW :CHOOSE ENTER SW : ENTER 2. Ensure that all joysticks are in their central position, then press the \ Service button to initialize the setting details. 3. Press the Enter button to go to the Switch Test and confirm correct joystick operation. (see page 52 for test de tails)

Page 57 8. MAINTENANCE Adjustment or maintenance on this machine should be carried out by qualified personnel only. Ensure that the POWER to the machine is turned OFF before commencing any maintenance work. Page 59 8-1 Replacing the Ball Assy 1. Remove 4off hex head screw (M8x40), with flat and spring washer, and remove the Ball Assy and Ball Mounting Wood. 2. Replace the Ball Assy, ensuring that the Ball Mounting Wood is refitted. Note: The holes in the ball, ball mounting wood and kicker assy are not equally spaced. Ensure that all holes line-up before fitting any screws.
