About Personal Greetings
CiscoUnityConnectionallowsyoutorecorduptosixpersonalgreetings.Youcanturnonasmanygreetings
asyouwant,andyoucanspecifyhowlongyouwantthegreetingstostayon.
Withamultilingualsystem,youhavetheoptionofprovidingyourpersonalgreetingsinmultiple
languages—yourdefaultlanguageandotherlanguagesavailableonyoursystem.Notethatyouusethephone
keypadtomanagegreetingsinlanguagesotherthanyourdefaultlanguage;youcannotusevoicecommands.
Thesixpersonalgreetingsandhowtheyworkaredescribedbelow.NotethatConnectionplaysthegreetings
thatyouturnonfortheapplicablesituation,whilesomegreetingsoverrideothergreetingswhentheyareon.
StandardGreeting
ThisgreetingplaysduringthebusinesshoursthatyourConnectionadministratorspecifiedforyourorganization,
