Useonlyfactory-manufacturedstandardammunitionofanappropriatecaliber,
whichisincompliancewithCIPregulations(InternationalProofCommissionfor
Firearms),orSAAMI(SportingArmsandAmmunitionManufacturersInstituteInc.
oftheUnitedStates).Theuseofothercartridgescoulddamagethefirearmor
causemalfunctionsorinjurytotheshooter.

Disengagethesubmachinegunsafetybyrotatingthesafety-selectorlever
eithertoposition1ortoposition20.(Thesubmachinegunwithitssafety-
selectorinposition0Le.Safe-cannotbeloaded!).
Holdthesubmachinegunbythegripwithonehand,andwiththethumband
indexfingeroftheothergrasptheboltcockingknobslocatedonbothsidesofthe
receiver.Retracttheboltfullytoitsstopandthenallowittosnapforward(Fig.6).

blocksthetriggermechanismandbait,thuspreventingboththeinadvertent
pullingofthetriggerandoperationsofthebolt.
SightAdjustment
Thesubmachinegunwassighted-inatthemanufacturingpiant,atadistance
of75m,sothatthemeanpointofimpactapproximatelyconformstothepointof
aim.
