    							2.Tap  Settings > About. 
    3.In the Category drop-down list, tap Network. Make note of the IPv4 address.

    To help protect your privacy, you can permanently delete all of your media card data. Depending on the amount of data, 
    this process might take some time.
    1.On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Tap  Settings > Storage and Access.
    3.Tap Erase Media Card.
    To use the media card again, you must format it.
    Turn on encryption
    Your BlackBerry device creates and stores an encryption key when you turn on encryption. Your device uses this 
    encryption key to access encrypted files on your media card.
    1.On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Tap  Settings > Security and Privacy > Encryption.

    							Set up your computer with BlackBerry Link
    The first time you open BlackBerry Link, you can give your computer a display name that identifies your computer on your 
    device and in 
    BlackBerry Link. BlackBerry Link displays the default pictures, videos, and documents libraries on your 
    computer that you can sync with and access from your device.
    To set up your BlackBerry ID with BlackBerry Link, make sure that your computer is connected to the Internet.
    1.On your computer, open BlackBerry Link.
    2.Type a display name for your computer. Click Next.
    3.Select the music sources on your computer, such as Windows Media Player or iTunes. On a Mac computer, you can 
    also select the folders for your 
    Documents library.
    4.If you have an Internet connection, sign in to or create a BlackBerry ID.
    5.Select the checkboxes beside the devices you want to grant remote file access to.
    6.Click Finish.
    Set up your device in BlackBerry Link
    When you set up your device in BlackBerry Link, you can give your device a display name. This name appears on your 
    device and also identifies your device in 
    BlackBerry Link.
    1.On your computer, open BlackBerry Link.
    2.Connect your device to your computer using a USB cable.
    3.If necessary, type the password for your device.
    4.At the side of the BlackBerry Link window, click your device.
    5.Type a display name for your device.
    6.Do one of the following:
    
    						
    							1.On your computer, open BlackBerry Link.
    2.At the side of the BlackBerry Link window, click your device.
    3.Click Remove Device.
    4.On a Windows computer, click OK. On a Mac computer, click Remove.
    About BlackBerry ID and BlackBerry Link
    Your BlackBerry ID is a username (email address) and password used to access multiple BlackBerry products and 
    services, such as 
    BBM and the BlackBerry World storefront. In many situations, your BlackBerry ID allows BlackBerry 
    products to work seamlessly without prompting you to enter your username and password.
    If you don
    						
    							3.Tap Settings > Device Connections.
    4.Turn on the Allow Connections switch.
    5.Tap the computer you want to access.
    6.To switch between paired computers, in the File Manager app, tap . 
    If BlackBerry Balance is enabled on your device, use the File Manager app in your personal space.

    turning off.
    Edit or delete a file

    Set backup preferences in BlackBerry Link
    You can set the option to back up your BlackBerry device automatically when you connect your device to your computer. 
    You can also customize the backup file name that 
    BlackBerry Link creates and select which types of data to include in your 
    backup file.
    On a Windows computer, do the following:
    1.Open BlackBerry Link.
    2.At the side of the BlackBerry Link window, click your device.
    3.Click Back Up & Restore.
    By default, BlackBerry Link performs a quick backup of your device, including all data except your media files and 
    applications.
    4.Do one of the following:

    4.Click Back Up & Restore.
    5.On a Windows computer, click Back Up Device. On a Mac computer, click Back Up Now.
    Restore your device data
    With BlackBerry Link, you can restore backup files that include supported data from devices running BlackBerry Device 
    Software
     5.0 or later and BlackBerry 10 OS.
    On a Windows computer, do the following:
    1.Open BlackBerry Link.
    2.Connect your device to your computer using a USB cable.
    3.At the side of the BlackBerry Link window, click your device.
    4.Click Back Up & Restore.
