    4.  b\b sur\b to t\bst any spot r\bmoval formulas in 
    an inconspicuous ar\ba first. This is important as 
    som\b dy\bs and mat\brials could b\b damag\bd or 
    discolor\bd by cl\baning solv\bnts.  if such a chang\b  
    should occur, try a diff\br\bnt solution or call a 
    prof\bssional.
    5.  if cl\baning on  b\brb\br carp\bting, g\bntly run 
    your machin\b ov\br a hidd\bn ar\ba.   
    if no fuzzing occurs, continu\b cl\baning   
    in soil\bd ar\ba.
    6.  Using th\b  bissell stain Pr\bTr\bat, spray 
    \bv\bnly ov\br soil\bd ar\ba. Do not ov\brw\bt. Wait 
    3-5 minut\bs. G\bntly work th\b solution by blotting 
    ar\ba with a cl\ban, damp, color saf\b cloth.
    7.   Cl\ban using \bith\br th\b Fl OOR CleANiNG, or 
    TOOls s\btting on th\b R\badyTools dial.
    c\beaning with the Stain  trapper  too\b
    1.  Attach th\b  stain Trapp\br tool to th\b \bnd   
    of th\b hos\b.
    2.  G\bntly scrap\b up any s\bmi-solids with a spoon 
    or spatula. Do not us\b a knif\b or oth\br ut\bnsil 
    with sharp \bdg\bs b\bcaus\b it could   
    damag\b th\b carp\bt or upholst\bry.
    3.  Plug in and turn on th\b pow\br switch.
    4.  Cl\ban by pr\bssing th\b trigg\br to spray solu-
    tion onto th\b ar\ba to b\b cl\ban\bd.  slowly mov\b 
    th\b tool back and forth ov\br th\b soil\bd surfac\b. 
    R\bl\bas\b th\b trigg\br to suction soil\bd wat\br. 
    Continu\b to cl\ban in th\b ar\ba, working in small 
    s\bctions, until no mor\b dirt can b\b r\bmov\bd. 
    Rins\b (optional) and suction as n\b\bd\bd. 
    ca UtIon: Do not overwet.
    notE: Do not fi\b\b the Stain  trapper tank   
    above the  fUll \bine.
    5.  To \bmpty th\b  stain Trapp\br tool, rotat\b   
    th\b small tank on th\b bottom of th\b tool   
    to unlock it. 
    notE:  \fe carefu\b to keep the top of the too\b 
    facing upward or soi\bed water wi\b\b spi\b\b out of 
    the tank.
    6.  Dump dirty wat\br into a sink or toil\bt and   
    rins\b th\b tank out with cl\ban wat\br. R\bplac\b   
    th\b tank by lining up th\b “unlock” symbol with 
    th\b small arrow on th\b tank and turning it to   
    th\b “lock” symbol. 
    7.   Cl\ban th\b front of th\b tool by r\bmoving th\b 
    plat\b ov\br th\b suction path. Pull down on th\b 
    bottom of th\b plat\b to r\bmov\b. Run th\b tool   
    and th\b plat\b und\br cl\ban wat\br to rins\b taking 
    car\b to r\bmov\b all d\bbris. R\bplac\b th\b front   
    plat\b by sliding it back into plac\b.

    Hard f\boor c\beaning

    a hard floor attachm\bnt and 2X Hard Floor 
    solutions Formula. if not, th\bs\b products

    or at th\b w\bbsit\b. Th\b hard floor tool provid\bs 
    \bff\bctiv\b cl\baning for linol\bum, vinyl, and   
    til\b floors. Caution: Do not us\b on uns\bal\bd 
    hardwood floors.
    1.  Vacuum or sw\b\bp thoroughly to pick up any 
    loos\b d\bbris and p\bt hair.
    2.  Mov\b any furnitur\b, if n\b\bd\bd.
    3.  Fill th\b formula tank to “WATeR” lin\b with 
    wat\br. Fill to “FORMUlA” lin\b with  bissell 2X 
    Hard Floor  solutions.
    4.  Fill th\b 2-in-1 wat\br tank with hot tap wat\br 
    and s\bt asid\b.
    5.  Attach th\b hard floor tool onto th\b bottom of 
    th\b machin\b by hooking it into th\b nozzl\b and 
    swinging it down until it clicks into plac\b. 
    6.  s\bt R\badyTools dial to th\b “Fl OOR 
    CleANiNG” s\btting.
    7.   s\bt th\b Custom Cl\ban dial to NORMAl cl\ban.
    8.  Plug into an outl\bt and turn th\b pow\br switch 
    and h\bat\br ON (  I ).
    9.  slowly mov\b th\b machin\b forward and   
    back ov\br hard floor surfac\b on\b tim\b whil\b 
    d\bpr\bssing trigg\br.  Caution: Do not overwet.
    10.  R\bp\bat th\b motion without pr\bssing th\b   
    trigg\br using th\b hard floor tool to squ\b\bg\b\b   
    and suction up th\b dirty wat\br.
    11.  Allow ad\bquat\b tim\b for floors to dry.
    12.  R\bmov\b hard floor tool, rins\b and dry   
    b\bfor\b storing.
    13.  Rins\b out th\b formula tank.

    1.  Flush your machin\b of any r\bmaining r\bsidual 
    solution.

    hot tap wat\br.
       \b .   Plug your machin\b into a prop\br outl\bt 
    and s\bt th\b Custom Cl\ban dial to th\b rins\b 
    s\btting. Turn th\b pow\br on by pr\bssing th\b 
    pow\br button. 
       c .  R\bclin\b th\b handl\b and pr\bss th\b spray 
    trigg\br for 15 s\bconds whil\b making forward 
    and backward pass\bs on carp\bt. R\bl\bas\b th\b 
    trigg\br to suction. R\bp\bat for anoth\br 15 s\bc-
    onds. Continu\b without pr\bssing th\b trigg\br 
    until th\br\b is no mor\b wat\br b\bing suction\bd.
    2.  Turn pow\br and h\bat\br switch\bs OFF (O). 
    Unplug th\b machin\b and wrap th\b pow\br cord. 
    empty th\b 2-in-1 wat\br tank.
    3.  Rins\b out 2-in-1 wat\br tank, with running hot 
    tap wat\br, taking car\b to cl\ban und\brn\bath th\b 
    h\bavy duty bladd\br, and all around it.  
    4.  Th\b top half of th\b tank can b\b rins\bd cl\ban 
    through th\b nozzl\b ar\ba. Also, pop out th\b r\bd 
    filt\br und\brn\bath th\b top half of th\b tank and 
    rins\b out. R\bplac\b b\bfor\b putting th\b top and   
    bottom halv\bs of th\b tank tog\bth\br.

    th\b cap by ins\brting a coin or a flat h\bad scr\bw 
    driv\br into th\b slot on th\b top. Turn count\br clock 
    wis\b and unscr\bw.  s\bt asid\b.
       a .  R\bmov\b th\b whit\b filt\br by grasping th\b 
    post and pulling up and out of th\b unit. 
    Rins\b th\b filt\br und\br cold wat\br.
    notE:  \fe carefu\b not to drop the fi\bter into the 
    sink or disposa\b.
       \b .  R\bplac\b th\b whit\b filt\br back into th\b   
    filt\br ar\ba. 
    notE:  make sure the white fi\bter is seated prop-
    er\by before p\bacing the red so\bution fi\bter cap.
       c .  R\bplac\b th\b r\bd solution filt\br cap and 
    turn clockwis\b to tight\bn.
    6.  K\b\bping th\b 2-in-1 wat\br tank off of th\b bas\b 
    of th\b machin\b, simply unscr\bw th\b floor nozzl\b 
    using a Phillips h\bad scr\bwdriv\br. This can b\b 
    rins\bd out  at th\b fauc\bt. Th\bn r\bplac\b back onto 
    th\b machin\b by starting from th\b bottom of th\b 
    nozzl\b and hooking th\b tabs into th\b hol\bs on 
    th\b bottom sid\bs of th\b machin\b.  s\bcur\b into 
    plac\b with th\b scr\bw. 
    7.   Th\b insid\b of th\b \bnd caps by th\b brush rolls 
    can b\b wip\bd out with a cl\ban pap\br tow\bl, 
    or, if a mor\b thorough cl\baning is d\bsir\bd, th\b 
    \bnd caps can b\b tak\bn off using a Phillips h\bad 
    scr\bwdriv\br and rins\bd cl\ban. R\bplac\b aft\br 
    cl\baning.
    8.  Any loos\b hair or d\bbris can b\b pull\bd from  
    th\b brush rolls and thrown away. For th\b most 
    thorough cl\ban b\bfor\b storag\b, follow dir\bctions 
    for r\bmoval and r\bplac\bm\bnt of th\b brush rolls 
    and b\blts.
    9.  To cl\ban attachm\bnts that may hav\b b\b\bn us\bd, 
    r\bmov\b from hos\b and rins\b und\br cl\ban, running 
    wat\br. Dry and r\bplac\b attachm\bnt in th\b tool 
    caddy. Cl\ban th\b hos\b by suctioning cl\ban wat\br 
    from th\b tap.  b\bfor\b r\bplacing, lift \bnd of hos\b and 
    str\btch out to \bnsur\b all wat\br is cl\bar\bd from hos\b.

    10.  Aft\br carp\bt is dry, vacuum again to r\bmov\b 
    hair and fuzz.

    4.  Turn th\b machin\b on its sid\b.   
    IMPORTANT: cord side down.
    5.  R\bmov\b th\b cl\bar \bnd cap by unscr\bwing th\b 
    2 black scr\bws. Tak\b car\b not to drop th\b scr\bws 
    into th\b unit.
    6.  R\bmov\b 1 silv\br scr\bw.
    7.   R\bmov\b pivot arm by g\bntly lifting up.
    8.  R\bmov\b small brush b\blt.
    9.  R\bplac\b small brush b\blt, and r\bv\brs\b   
    st\bps abov\b.
    \frush remova\b and \barge be\bt rep\bacement 
    brush\bs can b\b r\bmov\bd for cl\baning or   
    r\bplac\bm\bnt as n\b\bd\bd. 
    1.  Follow small b\blt r\bmoval instructions abov\b.
    2.  R\bmov\b brush rolls by pulling th\bm off of 
    th\b m\btal rods.  Be careful not to lose the small 
    washer at each end of the \brush rolls.
    3.  Plac\b cl\ban\bd or n\bw brush rolls back onto 
    th\b rods. Mak\b sur\b on\b wash\br is on \bach \bnd 
    of th\b roll\brs prior to sliding onto th\b rod.  b\b 
    sur\b to l\bt th\b rod slid\b through th\b bushing to 
    insur\b prop\br fit.
    4.  R\b-attach th\b long b\blt on th\b bottom to th\b 
    cogs of th\b small roll\br brush\bs.
    5.  Plac\b small b\blt ov\br back roll\br and m\btal 
    cog.
    6.  Plac\b pivot arm in plac\b and scr\bw in plac\b 
    using th\b silv\br scr\bw.
    7.   R\b-attach cl\bar \bnd cap by tight\bning with th\b 
    (2) black scr\bws.
    8.  R\bturn front nozzl\b to front of unit, by latching 
    from und\brn\bath and th\bn s\bcuring with a scr\bw.
