Disconnect the flex cable.

Remove the four screws.  
Lift off the card cage.

Replacement Note:
7.    Install the EMI gasket.

8.    When the board is in place and the ports are seated, hold the power 
adapter port tightly against the port opening while installing screws.  
Replacement Note:
9.   After securing the board, exercise the ExpressCard slot door to verify 
clearance.

After the parts are removed in the preliminary steps, disconnect and remove the hard drive/
bluetooth/IR flex cable from the sleep LED cable. What’s left is the bottom case..

Black stick (nylon probe 922-5065) (or other non-conductive nylon or plastic flat-blade tool

Procedure
Disconnect two antenna connectors. Lift straight up. Peel up Kapton tape to free.

Disconnect two cable connectors.

Disconnect the LVDS cable.

Move the display to a 90-degree angle and remove the four clutch screws.

Important: Support the display from falling over before removing the last screw.  
Lift the display straight up and off of the computer without catching wires.
