How you use this mount depends on what installation location you choose. 1. Choose a safe location away from unexposed objects such as electric wires or pipes. 2. Attach the base to the roof, sidewall, rail, or attic rafter or floor using the anchor screws (see Figure 1). Note: You can also attach the mount base to a tower or an existing mast. Attach the supplied mast clamps to the tower structure or existing mast by assembling the U-bolts and lock nuts around part of the tower structure or the existing mast, through the mast clamps and secure with lock nuts. 3. Insert the mast into the base. Then insert the pivot bolt through the base and mast, and attach a nut to the pivot bolt (see Figure 2). 4. Insert the two small movement bolts into the mast, out through the curved opening on the base. Attach a nut to each bolt and tighten to lock the mast in place (see Figure 3). 5. After installing your antenna on the mast you can route the antenna’s coaxial cable down through the mast (see Figure 4).
