WARNING Important safety information enclosed. Read this manual before operating tool. Failure to observe the following warnings could result in injury. 1. Never operate the hammer unloaded (unloaded or idle operation may damage the Rivet Snap Holder and release the Rivet Snap). AIMCO shall not be responsible for accidents or problems caused by any misuse or abuse such as this. 2. Supply compressed air of 70~90 PSI. 3. Some air still remains in the hammer even after closing the Air Inlet Valve (P/No. 30) and will cause accidental operation when lever is pushed down. Never neglect to practice the air releasing operation set forth in step #2 of Instructions for Safe Replacement of Rivet Snaps. IMPORTANT Make sure that these instructions are fully understood before operating this tool. The tool, its attachments, and accessories must only be used for their designed purpose. For product liability and safety reasons, any modifications of the tool and its accessories must be agreed upon by the technical authority of the manufacturer. All locally legislated safety rules with regard to installation, operation, and maintenance shall be respected at all times. INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFE OPERATION First, follow your local safety regulations strictly on this tool. 1. Connect Air Hose to Air Inlet Valve (P/No. 30) and supply compressed air. 2. Put the Rivet Snap (P/No. 31) on the work and push the tool down lightly until the Rivet Snap sits firmly. 3. Push the Lever (P/No. 24) to start operation. INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFE REPLACEMENT OF RIVET SNAPS 1. Close the Air Inlet Valve (P/No. 30) to shut off air. 2. Put the Rivet Snap on something suitable and acceptable for trial shot-hammering and operate the hammer several times (refer to the above-mentioned WARNING #3). 3. After making sure that the tool does not operate any more by pushing down the Lever, remove Retaining Ring (P/No. 29) and take out Rivet Snap Holder and replace Rivet Snap. MAINTENANCE GENUINE PARTS: The use of other than genuine AIMCO replacement parts may result in safety hazards, decreased tool performance, and increased maintenance, and may invalidate all warranties. AIMCO is not responsible for customer modification of tools for applications on which AIMCO was not consulted. Repairs should be made only by an authorized AIMCO Service Center.
