    3.Detach the black cable from connector 1 and the white cable from connector 2 on the WLAN card.
    4.Remove the one screw (F) on the WLAN card and detach the card.

    5.Remove the wireless LAN card. 
    Removing the DIMM Module
    1.See “Removing the Battery Pack” on page 40.

    3.Push out the latches on both sides of the DIMM socket to release the DIMM.

    Removing the Heatsink Module
    NOTE: There are two version of heatsink module. For this section, we are going to use the Discrete model. 
    The UMA version looks like the picture below:
    1.See “Removing the Battery Pack” on page 40.
    2.See “Removing the Back Cover” on page 42.
    3.Disconnect the heatsink connector from its connector on the main board.

    4.Loosen the seven screws securing the heatsink module in the order shown.
    5.Carefully lift up the heatsink module.

    Removing the CPU 
    1.See “Removing the Battery Pack” on page 40.
    2.See “Removing the Back Cover” on page 42.
    3.See “Removing the Heatsink Module” on page 49.
    4.Using a flat screwdriver, turn the CPU socket latch counter-clockwise to release the CPU. 
    5.Lift up carefully to remove the CPU.

    NOTE: When installing the CPU, make sure to install the CPU with Pin 1 at the corner as shown.

    Removing the Middle Cover

    2.Remove the three screws (C) on the back cover. 
    3.Carefully pry loose the middle cover and remove it from the system.

    3.Release the keyboard from the latches and turn it over on the palmrest area.
