							WEARING YOUR PEDOMETER
While gently holding the belt clip open, slide the pedometer 
onto your belt or the top edge of your pants or skirt. It should fit 
snugly and level, above one knee. 
Note:  The pedometer should be as vertical as possible.  Walkers 
with larger stomachs may find it helpful to wear the pedometer 
farther back on the bod y, toward one hip. 
T o avoid losing or dropping your pedomete r, use the included 
leash and clip to fasten the pedometer securely to your clothing. 
Attac hing the Leash:  Attach the pedometer to the leash by 
looping the leash around the pedometer belt clip. Next, clasp 
the waist-band of your clothing with the attached clip.  Y ou can 
also use a safety pin to fasten the leash to your clothing, loop 
the leash through your belt or belt loop or use a badge holder .

Just follow the steps belo w, and start walking!
RESETTING  YOUR PEDOMETER
Most people prefer to reset step counts dail y.  To reset:   
Press RESET  button to reset to zero. 
REPLA CING THE B ATTER Y
When the display starts to dim or goes blank, it is time to 
replace the batter y.  Y our pedometer uses one  T ype L1 142 
(LR43) 1.5 volt silver oxide batter y.  To replace:  
1.  Using a jeweler’s screwdriver or fingernail, gently pry   
  battery cover from case, using slot at top of cover . 
2.  Pul l t he ol d b atter y ge ntly  o ut of it s  hold er.  Repla ce  it with   
  a new batter y.  The battery’s positive (+) terminal should be   
  FACE UP  while you put it into the pedomete r.
3.  Slide bottom of battery cover back into place, then snap   
  top of cover back into place.
