English 13 Installation Powering On the Projector 1. Remove the lens cap. n 2. Ensure that the power cord and signal cable are securely connected. The Power LED will Flash Green. 3. Turn on the lamp by pressing “Power/Standby” button on the control panel.o And the Power LED will turn Green. The fi rst time you use the projector, you can select your preferred language from quick menu after the startup screen display. 4. Turn on your source (computer, notebook, video player,etc.). The projector will detect your source automatically.
English 15 Installation Adjusting the Projected Image Adjusting the Projector Image Height Tilt Adjusting Feet Elevator Foot 23 Elevator Button The projector is equipped with an elevator foot for adjusting the image height. To raise the image: 1. Press the elevator button n. 2. Raise the image to the desired height angle o, then release the button to lock the elevator foot into position. 3. Use p to fi ne-tune the display angle. To lower the image: 1. Press the elevator button. 2. Lower the image, then release the button to lock the eleva- tor foot into position. 3. To focus the im- age, rotate the focus ring until the image is clear. The projector will focus at distances from 4.9 to 39.4 feet (1.5 to 12.0 meters) with mechanical travel. English 17 User Controls Control Panel & Remote Control There are two ways for you to control the functions: Remote Control and Control Panel. Using the Control Panel Power/Standby 4 Refer to the “Power On/Off the Projector” section on pages 13- 14. Source 4 Press “Source” to choose RGB, Component-p, Component-i, S- Video, Composite Video and HD sources. Menu 4 Press “Menu” to launch the on screen display (OSD) menu. To exit OSD, press “Menu” again. Keystone / 4 Adjusts image distortion caused by tilting the projector (±16 degrees). Four Directional Select Keys 4 Use to select items or make adjustments to your selection. Enter 4 Confi rm your selection of items. Re-Sync 4 Automatically synchronizes the projector to the input source (for PC signal only). Control Panel
English 18 User Controls Using the Remote Control Power/Standby 4 Refer to the “Power On/Off the Projector” section on pages 13- 14. Re-Sync (for PC signal only) 4 Automatically synchronizes the projector to the input source. Hide 4 Press “Hide” to hide image, press again to restore display of the image. Display Format 4Display the “Display Format” section of the on screen display menu to select the desired aspect ratio. Freeze 4 Press “Freeze” to pause the screen image. Display Mode 4 Select the Presentation, Bright, Movie, sRGB and User. Keystone / 4 Adjusts image distortion caused by tilting the projector (±16 degrees). Brightness 4Adjust the brightness of the image . Zoom 4 Press “+ / -” button to zoom in/out of an image. Four Directional Select Keys 4 Use to select items or make adjustments to your selection. English 19 User Controls Clear 4Clear your input of password. Color Setting 4Adjust the Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Cyan and Magenta colors for advanced adjustment of the individual colors. Source Lock 4Select auto detection all connector ports or lock current connector port. VGA 4Press “VGA” to choose VGA connector. S-Video 4Press “S-Video” to choose S-Video source. Video 4Press Video to choose composite video source.
English 20 User Controls The Projector has multilingual On Screen Display menus that allow you to make image adjustments and change a variety of settings. The projector will automatically detect the source. How to operate 1. To open the OSD menu, press “Menu ” on the Remote Control or Control Panel. 2. When OSD is displayed, use keys to select any item in the main menu. While making a selection on a particular page, press or “Enter” key to enter sub menu. 3. Use keys to select the desired item and adjust the settings by key. 4. Select the next item to be adjusted in the sub menu and adjust as described above. 5. Press “Menu ” to confi rm, and the screen will return to the main menu. 6. To exit, press “Menu ”again. The OSD menu will close and the projector will automatically save the new settings.
