1. Place the Fan on a safe, flat surface where it cannot fall or be pulled by the cord.
2. Unscrew the Tilt Knob slightly, adjust the angle you want by tilting the Fan, then retighten the Tilt Knob.
3. Plug the Fan into a polarized electrical outlet.
4. Choose speed desired (Low/Medium/High) by depressing the corresponding button.
5. Adjust the Thermostat Dial to your cooling comfort level by turning the Dial to the right for colder temperature.

1. Look into the opening of the Base and you will see a notch 
at one side and a thin tab across from it. Align the slot in
the bottom of the Stand Pipe to the notch in the Base
